Our Story

Sit is a mindfulness based education company joining the transformative
experience of travel with the educational platforms of mindfulness/ awareness meditation and Buddhist teachings.
Corinne Collins and Bruce Spears are the co-founders and are longtime students and practitioners of
meditation and Buddhism. Corinne is also a graduate of the mindfulness and
compassion education program through the Engaged Mindfulness Institute and The University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness.
Corinne brings 13 years of experience living and traveling in South and Southeast Asia,
which includes medical work in Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam.

Corinne and Bruce are excited about the opportunity of bringing their two
favorite activities: mind-heart training and travel to a wider audience. Learning about another country and culture
opens the heart and mind to others. Learning meditation and compassion practice opens the
heart and mind to oneself.
There is nothing more enjoyable for us than sharing what we love with like-minded people. Our
trips become a traveling Sangha. Please Come sit with us.
